Events Around Melbourne Law School ALC/CILS Research Seminar: Growing Together in Partnership: Women's Views of the Business Practices of an Islamic Savings and Credit Cooperative This seminar explores the impact of the rise of Islamism on women in Indonesia, and how Islamic jurisprudence has been linked to the business operations of the BMTs (Baitul Maal wat Tamwil). CELRL Labour Law Seminar: Change and Evolution in New Zealand Employment Law This seminar will focus on the way the statutory good faith obligation has developed over the last decade. Moving the Children’s Rights Agenda Forward: An Interdisciplinary Australian Perspective Using the UNCRoC as the starting point, this conference will investigate what a children's rights focus looks like in the Australian context within different disciplines.
